Sunshine wasn't the only exciting part of our Wizzy Bug trial at the Penshurst site. There was bubble wrap to drive over and balloons to chase but the most fun was chasing Mum and Dad around haha! Powered mobility using switch or joysticks are a great first stage of assisting with skill development and independence. Did you know that a child can start to learn to use a moving powered mobility device from 14 months? And the Wizzy Bug is a great powered mobility option to trial. As you can see our therapists enjoy helping with the trial too. Sometimes there are tears and laughter, which is natural to the process but we find most kids LOVE their Wizzy Bug.
